ABOUT LAKELANDS |

We bought Lakelands Restaurant & Pub in the Spring of 2016. We took the Summer to do extensive renovations, and opened our doors in August. It’s truly been a labor of love for our West County family and friends!

The name came from the neighborhood behind the restaurant. The Lakelands subdivision was established back in the 1920s. The moniker suited the area, because it occupies the land between Lake Erie and Route 5. We’ve been able to locate a few pieces of memorabilia from its early days in Lake City, and are proud to have them displayed in the dining room.

In 2017, we added the outdoor patio and firepit table. We also transformed the old garage on the side of the building, making it a room for private parties we call “The Cove” at Lakelands.  That same year, we hosted our first outdoor concert on the patio. Since then, we’ve hosted numerous acoustic music acts, both indoors and out.

We strive to be your go-to restaurant choice when looking for a fun, fresh, upscale eatery.  In addition to a full bar, we have 10 rotating craft beers on tap, and a wide variety of steaks, seafood, pastas, salads, and burgers. We have weekly special features and, since May 2018, we’ve been smoking our own pork, ribs, brisket, and chicken!  We’re proud to provide some new flavor combinations to our menu!

Our pickleball court is now open to the public, weather permitting, even on days/times that the restaurant isn't open.
